We source local garden centres and supply them with compost bins and accessories. Once your promotion kicks off, residents simply go and purchase a cut price compost bin from the nearest participating garden centre.

Kitchen Composter

General advice is to keep cooked foods, meat, fish and dairy out of a compost bin because these types of material will attract vermin. Obviously, as a result a proportion of the household organic waste arising cannot be composted.

The solution is our Kitchen Composter, a simple counter-top unit that all food waste is placed in. The material is then covered with a handful of Bokashi. This is bran which is coated with friendly bacteria. The effect of the Bokashi is to treat and deodorise the material allowing it to be safely composter after just a few days.

The Kitchen Composter can be added to any of our offers or can run as a stand alone offer if preferred.
